Location: Chicago, IL
Salary: $135,000.00 USD Annually - $150,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client in the Banking and Finance Industry is currently seeking a Sr. Manager, Infrastructure Management. This is a full-time, hybrid position located in Chicago (The Loop). This role has a base + bonus + excellent benefits.

Overview: You will help lead the team through various infrastructure efforts, manage multiple projects across various teams, and identify, design, and deploy new solutions. This candidate should be a Team Lead and a hands-on technical manager.

This job will have the following responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of IT engineers for various operations and projects.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the overall infrastructure plan.
  • Enable the most effective infrastructure technologies in compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Approach problems with both innovation and problem-solving skills.
  • Recommend and identify improvements to infrastructure solutions.

Technical Skills Required:
  • Windows/Linux Administration
  • Azure Certification (preferred)
  • Experience with Windows servers (2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016, 2019)
  • Experience managing server virtualization technologies like VMWare and Server/ESX
  • Group Policy design, configuration Active Directory/LDAP user and group administration


Other Required Experience:

  • Must come from a Financial Services or Healthcare or a highly regulated environment background
  • Must have hands-on experience with Azure (5+ years)
  • Experience leading teams of 10 with the expectation your team will grow
  • Must be hands-on technically with your teams; this is a not a hands-off role
