Location:- Reston, VA (In person interview (5 Day onsite)
Salary:- 105K (Max) No H1B transfers please
Job Description:
- Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience in COBOL development.
- IDMS Expertise: Strong knowledge of IDMS database systems, including data extraction techniques.
- Data Conversion: Proven experience in converting EBCDIC data to ASCII format.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in COBOL programming.
- Familiarity with JCL (Job Control Language) for batch job creation and execution.
- Understanding of mainframe environments and tools.
- Experience with file handling and data manipulation techniques.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to debug and resolve complex issues in legacy systems.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders and document processes effectively.
