Systems Administrator (Need GA locals)

Job Title: Systems Administrator

Location: Atlanta, GA Onsite

Candidates must be local to the Metro Atlanta area.

Short Description:

• Under direct supervision, installs, configures, & supports a local area network, wide area network, internet system, computers, desktops &/or mobile devices. Performs necessary maintenance to support network availability.

Complete Description:

Job Summary:

• Under limited supervision, oversees the installation, configuration, and support to a local area network, wide area network, internet system, computers, desktops and/or mobile devices. Recommends equipment improvement or replacement. Serves as the highest advanced-level subject matter expert, providing authoritative guidance for professional staff. May also serve in a lead role.

Responsibilities include:

• Installing and configuring software, hardware, and networks
• Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues.
• Ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
• Manage network servers and technology tools.
• Set up accounts and workstations.
• Upgrade systems with new releases and models

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a System Administrator
• Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent communication skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university

Required Skills:

• Required Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university
• Required 3 Years Experience as a System Administrator
• Required 3 Years Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
• Required 3 Years of experience installing and configuring software, hardware, and networks
• Required 3 Years Experience monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues.
• Required 3 Years Experience managing network servers and technology tools.
