BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Android Developer - Remote role!

Position Title: Android Developer
Location: Remote role.
Anticipated Start Date: 06/30/2025

Expected Duration: 6 Months

Pay Range: $45-$50/hr
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Responsibility:
* Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance Android apps using Kotlin, applying CLEAN architecture and SOLID principles.
* Lead complex app and SDK development, leveraging 10+ years of mobile engineering experience.
* Utilize Android SDK, Jetpack components, and a range of frameworks for robust, maintainable solutions.
* Ensure efficient data persistence (Room, DataStore), multithreading, memory management, and error handling.
* Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and optimize app performance using profiling tools.
* Apply TDD, unit/UI testing, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) for quality and streamlined delivery.
* Collaborate using Git/SourceTree and support multi-device compatibility (phones/tablets).
* Strong skills in algorithms, data structures, and performance optimization.
Preferred:
* Agile/Scrum experience, MVVM/MVP knowledge, familiarity with Firebase, Crashlytics, and additional mobile frameworks.
