Job Details
- 3 5 years of experience working in an HR Department doing Benefits administration.
- Should have an understanding of the ACA (Affordable Care Act) and 1095 s (a set of tax forms related to health insurance coverage under the ACA).
- Be experienced and capable of handling benefit questions and changes
- Strong knowledge of Benefit products.
- Experience administering information and knowledgeable about: Life Insurance plans, Benefit Plans, and Retirement plans. (Has a 403B/non-profit and 401k)
- Be capable of entering data into multiple systems. The benefits process is manual and only a few things are automated. Most process management will be kept track of by Excel spreadsheet.
- Capable and experienced presenting and answering questions in a benefits orientation.
- Experienced and capable processing qualifying life events.
- Have a good understanding of qualifying Life events. (specifically in the healthcare industry, is a plus+!)
- Bilingual - English/Spanish is a plus+.
