Role: Salesforce Architect

Location: Los Angeles, CA - Need Locals

Duration: 12+ Months

Onsite Requirement: Candidate must be available to be onsite twice per month (travel at candidate s own expense)

Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect to support Elevance Health in designing, architecting, and delivering scalable Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across the Salesforce ecosystem, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record working with healthcare clients or similarly complex enterprise environments. This role requires the ability to work onsite in Los Angeles, CA two times per month, with travel arranged and covered by the candidate.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 15+ years of overall IT experience with at least 10+ years as a Salesforce Architect.

  • Strong experience with Salesforce multi-cloud architecture Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Health Cloud preferred.

  • Expertise in Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL, integrations (REST/SOAP), and middleware platforms (MuleSoft, Informatica, Boomi, etc.).

  • Proven experience designing scalable and secure enterprise-level Salesforce solutions.

  • Strong understanding of data modeling, security, compliance, and governance in Salesforce.

  • Experience working in healthcare domain preferred (HIPAA, PHI processes).

  • Salesforce certifications strongly preferred (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect, Technical Architect, Platform Developer II, Integration Architect).

  • Excellent communication, client-facing, and solution-presentation skills.


Work Arrangement

  • Hybrid/Onsite: Travel to Los Angeles, CA two times per month.

  • Travel must be arranged and paid by the candidate.


Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Elevance Health or other large healthcare payers.

  • Experience with ETL/data migration strategies.

  • Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines (Copado, Git, Jenkins).

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior resources.
