Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Manufacturing Calibration Test Technician to join our Biomedical Diagnostics client in San Jose, CA. This is a 12-month contract position with the potential for extension.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.
Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm M-F
Description:
The Manufacturing Calibration Test Technician is responsible for calibrating, testing, and shipping company systems. This position reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is part of the Production Team located in San Jose, CA, and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Follow established procedures to calibrate, test, and prepare instruments for shipping
- Provide the first line of troubleshooting for diagnosing problems
- Contribute to group problem-solving and process improvement activities
- Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in a technical or manufacturing position
- Associate's degree in a technical field or comparable long-standing work experience
- Effective and analytical problem-solving skills, including a basic understanding of statistical methods, techniques, formulas, and tests
- BS degree in a Life Science, Chemistry, or Engineering technology discipline
- Prior work experience with calibration, automation, centrifuges, plate readers, etc.
- Familiarity with chemistry and liquid handling equipment (Beckman, Agilent, Hamilton)
