Job Details

Our client in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is seeking a full-time Network Administrator to join their team.

This is a hybrid/ full-time/direct-hire position
Salary based on experience: Starting at $70k

Objectives

  • Assist in network design, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Provide network support across organizational operating systems.
  • Maintain stable and consistent connectivity across all global networks and computers.
  • Prepare, implement, and monitor network disaster procedures and recovery.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain/troubleshoot network servers and associated hardware, software, services, and settings.
  • Recommend, test, and implement network systems and network security upgrades.
  • Consistently monitor and troubleshoot network stability and performance.
  • Create, adjust, and maintain network user and application server settings and permissions.
  • Write technical support documentation for network systems and applications.

Skills:

  • 5+ years experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of networking concepts and computing infrastructures.
  • Proven skills in network engineering, operations, and performance analysis.
  • Experience with leading server management and monitoring tools.
  • Strong communication skills for training and assisting users.
  • Professional certification, such as CISSP, CCNA, or CCNP.

Technologies Required

  • Experience with AWS and Azure Network concepts.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and forward.
  • Experience with Cisco switches and routers.
  • Experience with Cisco Firepower and Palo Alto firewalls.
