The ideal candidate combines strong networking and hardware troubleshooting skills with a deep understanding of Microsoft operating systems. This role is critical to enhancing the customer service experience and supporting the success of imaging products in diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support for hardware, driver, and network connectivity issues related to imaging devices.
- Collaborate with internal support and sales teams to diagnose and resolve customer issues.
- Reproduce customer scenarios and deliver solutions within defined service agreements.
- Escalate unresolved issues to engineering or development teams as needed.
- Support software applications used in conjunction with imaging devices.
- Analyze service data to identify trends and drive product and process improvements.
- Contribute to product documentation and support new product launches.
- Develop internal knowledge base articles and customer-facing self-help content.
- Participate in service reviews and establish support requirements for new products.
- Create technical training materials for field engineers and service providers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT Networking, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows OS, especially in relation to device connectivity.
- Proficiency in network infrastructure (LAN/WAN), security, diagnostics, and topology.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues in customer environments.
- Basic familiarity with Linux (driver installation and command-line scanning).
- Ability to work across disciplines including mechanical, electrical, and firmware.
- Excellent communication skills for working with customers, IT teams, and internal stakeholders.
