Summary

We are recruiting for a Senior SAP Security Analyst. The Senior SAP Security Analyst will be the SAP subject matter expert for designing and implementing SAP solutions to enhance security, improve operational efficiency, and support compliance across the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing SAP security in large organizations and work with IT and business teams to drive automation and innovation to streamline security processes.

The salary range for this position is $97,000 - $145,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert for security and compliance on SAP systems (ECC, S4, GRC, Access Control, Process Control, ETD, and others)
  • Design, implement, and maintain security controls for Perdue's SAP systems, ensuring user access is properly managed, aligned with business needs, and complies with security policies.
  • Lead the implementation of security architecture.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to address security concerns and conduct audits related to SAP applications.
  • Lead security team members on security activities and domain knowledge, so that service delivery and support can be shared.
  • Design the use of managing SAP User ID Permissions with Active Directory Group Administration.
  • Create job role matrix for new projects and document segregation of duties.
  • Create and support onboarding and offboarding processes for new and existing SAP applications.
  • Expand security capabilities to take full advantage of available SAP security tools.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on application security-related matters, including user provisioning, access requests, and security policies.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of policies, naming conventions, processes, and configurations.
  • Provide insights to management on SAP risks and compliance status.
  • Monitor SAP escalations and tickets and communicate as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in SAP security and cloud computing, and recommend enhancements to security controls and processes.


Minimum Education and Experience Required

Education Level:

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years SAP Security experience (In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 7 years of SAP Security experience).

Job Specific Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience with SAP Authorization for SAP ECC, SAP S/4 HANA, Fiori and GRC with at least 7 overall years within IT or Security.
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience of SAP security architecture and role-based authorization models within SAP system landscapes including SAP ECC, SAP HCM, SAP GRC, SAP S/4 HANA, and Fiori.
  • Experience implementing SAP security in large/complex environments, preferably in Manufacturing, Food, or Consumer Package Goods
  • Progressive responsibilities and experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP application security.
  • Experience with the following:
    • Collaborating across corporate Functions, including HR and IT.
    • Provisioning with Active Directory and SAP applications.
    • Implementing user joiners/movers/leavers life cycle and RBAC policies
    • SAP GRC Access Control & Process Control
    • SAP ETD administration and maintenance
    • Cloud applications and Bus. Objects
    • Emergency Access and Firefighter management
    • SOD Risk Management & Configuration
    • IT general controls, SOC, and SOX requirements
    • ERP security principles, technologies, and solutions
    • Audit testing & evidence collection
  • At least one of industry recognized SAP security certifications. (Preferred)


Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

  • Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
  • May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
  • May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
  • Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
