Job Summary (R&D Product Engineer):
- Design and develop fibre optic ribbons and ribbon fibre cables within the manufacturing industry.
- Apply sound safety and quality principles throughout the development process.
- Utilize strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office, to support engineering tasks.
- Solve technical problems creatively and analytically.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing personnel to coordinate and support development activities on the production floor.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing project work with daily responsibilities.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and productivity.
- Participate effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Communicate professionally and assertively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Travel up to 10% within the United States as needed for project or business needs.
