Job Summary:
We are seeking a Mid-Level Informatica Developer with working experience in PHP to join our dynamic data integration and application development team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Informatica PowerCenter (or IICS), ETL processes, and basic to intermediate PHP development skills. This role involves working on data migration, transformation, and integration projects, with occasional development or support of PHP-based applications or interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter / IICS.
  • Analyze source systems and develop data mappings and transformations.
  • Create technical documentation for ETL jobs, data flows, and system integrations.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and QA teams for requirement gathering and validation.
  • Develop and maintain PHP scripts for application interfaces, data exchange, or web-based utilities.
  • Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of data integration workflows.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems.
  • Monitor ETL jobs and proactively resolve failures or data issues.
  • Work in Agile/Scrum development environments with regular sprint cycles and stand-ups.
Required Qualifications:
  • 3 5 years of professional experience as an Informatica Developer (PowerCenter or IICS).
  • Strong understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and relational databases.
  • Proficiency in SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, or other RDBMS).
  • At least 1 2 years of hands-on experience with PHP development (procedural or object-oriented).
  • Experience working with Unix/Linux shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with data modeling, performance tuning, and metadata management.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and version control tools (e.g., Git).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or Azure).
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON/XML parsing in PHP.
  • Knowledge of Java, Python, or other scripting languages is a plus.
  • Experience in working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Education:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
