Role: Project Manager
Location: Washington, DC
1st round of interview video call followed by an in-person interview
Responsibilities:
Consulting and Client Engagement:
- Participate in enterprise-wide strategy engagements to ensure successful delivery of final project deliverables.
- Interface with project executives, up to C-Level, to drive problem formulation, comprehensive analysis, and resolution.
- Develop and present senior executive-level briefings and strategic recommendations.
- Research and critically assess client business strategies and financial system policies, leading the development of insightful analyses for strategic improvements.
- Continue to drive process improvements, while supporting the ongoing monthly, annual and ad hoc reporting requirements
Federal Systems Strategy and Integration:
- Collaborate with clients to define federal financial systems strategies and priorities for integration and consolidation.
- Support and enhance programs to streamline delivery of financial systems, including mid-tier system consolidation efforts.
- Assess integration strategies and plans, ensuring alignment with financial system policy, governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead data standardization efforts and develop strategies for cross-program and managerial reporting solutions to support enterprise-wide financial systems and decision-making.
Insights and Presentation:
- Evaluate G-Invoicing efforts to identify system enhancement opportunities.
- Analyze and maintain payment certification processes, providing recommendations for improvements.
- Present findings, insights, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior executive briefings.
Project Coordination and Monitoring:
- Monitor and engage in acquisition system improvement initiatives.
- Leverage knowledge of Oracle Federal Financials version 12.2 or higher for system assessments and enhancements.
- Support integration strategies, assessing HHS initiatives and activities to ensure successful implementation.
Strategic Leadership:
- Exercise strategic thinking and political savvy to navigate organizational landscapes.
- Respond proactively to emerging demands, data requests, industry changes, and program adjustments.
- Lead whiteboarding sessions and research emerging topics for quick strategic response.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree and Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
- Minimum three years of experience in a strategy discipline within a strategy firm or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven expertise in strategic planning, market sizing, business due diligence, performance improvement, and strategic growth.
- Strong business acumen with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite.
- Solid understanding of financial system policy and governance.
