About Our Client

A Wealth Management Firm known for its extensive range of financial products and services, including asset management, risk management, and advisory services.

Job Description

  • Provide operational support and security remediation for VMware environments, including Horizon VDI and Windows workstations, leveraging SCCM for patch management and application deployment.
  • Conduct patch management research and implement remediation strategies for physical and virtual workstations, automating repetitive tasks using PowerShell and Power Query where applicable.
  • Collaborate with IT Support and end-users to manage ticket resolution, schedule maintenance appointments, and coordinate security issue remediation.
  • Research and evaluate security solutions based on current vulnerabilities, ensuring timely implementation of software updates and patches to maintain system integrity.

The Successful Applicant

  • 3-5 years of IT experience with expertise in Windows workstation OS management and proficiency in Microsoft SCCM/MECM and PowerShell scripting.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in high-pressure and emergency situations.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, complemented by experience working collaboratively in team-oriented environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field preferred; financial industry experience is a plus.
