Leidos Dynetics is seeking a talented Cybersecurity Software Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team within a matrixed organization to create unique solutions for complex problems, specifically regarding missile defense systems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
The Cybersecurity Software Engineer will run and automate the tool set for analyzing the static code for cyber standards for the IFPC Inc 2 software teams. The Cybersecurity SW Engineer will perform data analysis generated from the tool set and determine applicability of data and reliability. The results will generate backlog items to be worked as part of the SAFE process. The Cybersecurity SW Engineer will also support creating/updating documentation for deliveries (CDRLs, Tech Bulletins, etc.). The development environment the software team is working in is a Linux environment using languages like C++ or Python.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

Basic Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline (Software related preferred) from an ABET-accredited university with 4+ years of experience or an MS with 2+ years
- Data Analysis
- SW Development Experience
- Cyber Experience
- Experience working within an Agile environment (or equivalent)
- Experience using tools such as Jira and Gitlab (or equivalent)
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred candidates will also have experience and/or working knowledge with:
- Software code scanning tools (CPP Check, CheckMarx, Fortify, or similar) experience
- Cyber certifications
- SAFE Agile Experience
- Linux Experience
- Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area
