Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated software tester for our ATM platform. You will be responsible for planning and executing regression tests for all releases of ATM applications. Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated software tester for our ATM platform. You will be responsible for planning and executing regression tests for all releases of ATM applications. Your role will involve developing and reporting on appropriate tests, documenting defects, and troubleshooting issues with a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities
- Plan and document tests for ATM applications.
- Execute tests and troubleshoot issues to identify problems.
- Document defects and issues with thorough due diligence.
- Collaborate in a lab environment, working with hardware like ATMs.
- Utilize agile framework and tools for test management and defect tracking.
- Perform exploratory and user acceptance testing.
- Work closely with business partners to gain acceptance.
- Conduct manual testing with a focus on user interface and data manipulation.
Essential Skills
- 3-5 years of relevant manual testing experience.
- Proficiency in manual testing, specifically related to devices, hardware, POS, and ATM.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies.
- Experience with test management tools such as Jira.
- Ability to assess and test Epics and Stories in an agile environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to plan and document test plans and test cases/scripts.
- Experience with hardware testing in a lab environment.
- Curiosity, tenacity, and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions to advance work.
