Job Title: APM IT Solutions Engineer, Expert
Location: Oakland, CA
Duration: 6 Months

We re seeking a Bentley APM contractor/consultant with deep platform expertise to help configure and extend our Bentley APM solution, support release upgrades, and build internal capability through hands-on training and upskilling.

Your expertise will drive technical excellence, support pre-sales efforts, and deliver tailored demonstrations to showcase the value of our digital asset management tools. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud platforms, virtualization technologies, and network architectures to empower clients in managing their critical infrastructure assets effectively.

  • Lead the design, deployment, and configuration of Bentley Asset Performance Management solutions across diverse client environments.
  • Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective clients, highlighting solution benefits and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with sales teams during pre-sales activities to develop tailored technical proposals and proof-of-concept implementations.
  • Provide expert guidance on integrating asset management solutions with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, ensuring seamless connectivity and security.
  • Support client onboarding by configuring virtualized environments using VMware and Linux-based systems, optimizing performance and scalability.
  • Assist in troubleshooting complex technical issues related to computer networking, cloud services, virtualization, and system integrations.
  • Develop detailed documentation including deployment guides, technical specifications, and analysis reports to facilitate ongoing support and project management.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Bentley APM SME with multiple implementations and/or significant production support experience.
  • Strong technical depth: configuration, troubleshooting, environment support, and release upgrade experience.
  • Experience working in a utility environment (electric preferred) and familiarity with asset and maintenance processes.
