Job Details

Job Title: Syndigo Developer/ Architect

Remote opportunity - US

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect end-to-end solutions using Syndigo to address complex merchandising challenges; and be able to implement and/or configure the changes
  • Develop scalable and efficient system configurations, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices.
  • Integrate Syndigo solutions with existing systems, including ERP, PIM, and supply chain platforms.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, inventory, IT, and operations, to gather and document business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and actionable project plans.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing insights into Syndigo capabilities and recommending optimal use cases.

  • Lead the implementation, configuration, and testing of Syndigo/Riversand item/product entity tools.
  • Optimize new product launch and item enrichment requirements to maximize efficiencies, minimize redundancies, and reduce tool friction.
  • Ensure seamless integration with Syndigo/Riversand item entities and other merchandising tools.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.Experience
  • 5 7 years of experience in merchandising, item management, and new product introduction with at least 3 - 5 years in Syndigo or Riversand).
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing Syndigo/Riversand solutions in retail or e-commerce industries.
  • Ability to analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems and/or proven business processes.
  • Define business rules and conditions for validations and dashboards.
  • Interpret user needs and write functional specifications for new systems, systems changes, system enhancements and/or bug fixes.
  • Create test metrics, test plans, identify regression tests and partners with QA for system, integration, and regression tests.Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in Syndigo/Riversand, including item/attribute creation and management.
  • Strong understanding of database structures, APIs, and integration methods.
  • Proficiency in SQL, scripting, and troubleshooting system configurations.
