Job Details
CherryRoad Technologies is seeking a dynamic individual for employment as a technical network lead. This individual should thrive in an environment that is fast moving and dynamic and will be expected to get involved in many different aspects of our business.
Duties:
Maintaining the operational fitness of the network.
Troubleshooting and resolving network issues.
Implementing networking solutions to improve performance and stability
Maintaining documentation
Patching equipment and software
Network monitoring
Working with customers and internal teams to implement network solutions and solve network issues.
Document customer issues and resolutions accurately and thoroughly.
Participate in improvement of our architecture and processes.
Data Center facility work such as cabling and installation of hardware.
Requirements:
Understanding of dynamic routing protocols and ability to configure and maintain geographically diverse data centers.
Understanding of tunneling and transport protocols such as VXLAN, IPSEC and GRE.
Advanced knowledge of L2 switching
Network design experience
Strong documentation skills
Very solid customer service experience with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Ability to learn new skills and concepts quickly, effectively, and independently.
Exceptional organizational skills.
Self-motivated, independent, and comfortable working directly with customers.
Ability to travel domestically.
Additional Notes:
We operate 24x7x365 facilities and every staff member is required to work onsite when required.
CCNP or equivalent experience preferred
3+ years of experience required.
