Contract – 12-Month Contract (with potential for extension)

Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on and reliable IT Support Specialist for a full-time, onsite role in Vancouver Canada. This individual will be the primary point of contact for all IT-related needs at the local office, supporting both end-user devices and facility infrastructure. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, organized, and capable of balancing routine support tasks with special IT projects.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Providing end-user hardware and software support for company-issued devices (laptops, desktops, tablets, peripherals)

  • Managing mobile devices and associated service lines

  • Coordinating with facilities and external vendors during scheduled maintenance or infrastructure-related issues

  • Logging, escalating, and tracking issues as needed with internal IT stakeholders

  • Issuing and collecting IT equipment using asset inventory systems

  • Maintaining accurate records of IT assets

  • Acting as the onsite IT presence during core hours for real-time troubleshooting

  • Supporting office moves, pilot programs, and system migrations under project lead direction

Required Experience/Skills

  • 1-2 years of experience in desktop support or IT operations

  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and software

  • Experience with asset management and inventory tools

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills

  • Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with remote IT teams

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience supporting mobile device management platforms

  • Previous work with cross-functional teams and vendors in an office/facilities environment

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred

Pay & Benefits Summary

  • $25/hour T4

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week (9am–6pm or 10am–7pm)

  • Background check required (no drug test needed)
