Job Details

Job Title: Senior Backend Developer – Monetization
Location: Remote
Pay: $65–$70/hr

We’re hiring a Senior Backend Developer to join the Monetization team supporting high-scale, customer-facing eCommerce systems that enable paid product promotions and media placements.

You’ll design and build scalable backend microservices using Java, develop REST APIs, and work with cloud-native technologies to support a critical digital revenue platform.

Top Skills:

  • Java + Spring Boot microservices

  • Docker & Kubernetes (Azure or GCP)

  • SQL & NoSQL (Postgres, Oracle, Cassandra)

Also Required:

  • Kafka or similar messaging system

  • RESTful API design and development

  • CI/CD, Git, unit/integration testing

Bonus:

  • eCommerce, AdTech, or recommendation system experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain backend services that support monetization features

  • Build RESTful APIs focused on scalability, performance, and reusability

  • Design microservices to support paid media and product promotion

  • Collaborate with product, design, and full-stack teams to deliver new features

  • Monitor service performance and resolve issues related to scalability and traffic

  • Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and architectural discussions

  • Contribute to process improvements and engineering best practices
