Job Title: Power Platform Developer
Location: Chicago, IL (On-site/Hybrid based on business needs)
Job Type: Full-time

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Power Platform Developer to join our team in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing backend solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools, specifically Power Automate and Power Pages. This role requires a deep understanding of data integration, automation, and low-code/no-code development to support internal business processes and external user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions using Power Automate, Power Pages, and backend integrations on the Power Platform.
  • Build and configure workflows, automated processes, and responsive websites or portals.
  • Integrate with external systems and services (via REST APIs, Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, etc.).
  • Ensure the security, performance, and maintainability of Power Platform solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analysts, designers, and stakeholders to define solution requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to platform configuration, flows, and data connectivity.
  • Maintain documentation for solutions, configurations, and processes.
  • Stay updated on new features, best practices, and Microsoft releases within the Power Platform ecosystem.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (especially Power Automate, Power Pages, and backend development).
  • Strong understanding of Dataverse, Microsoft Azure, and integration frameworks.
  • Experience building custom connectors and integrating third-party APIs.
  • Knowledge of scripting or development languages (e.g., JavaScript, Power Fx, or C#) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) within the Power Platform.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft certifications in Power Platform or related technologies.
  • Experience in agile development environments.
  • Prior experience in developing secure and accessible public-facing portals using Power Pages.
