Job Details
Job Title: IT Procurement Technician Local to Texas
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid/Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Description
4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. It relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Certified Texas Contract Developer (CTCD), or Certified Texas Contract Manager (CTCM) credentials a plus.
Qualifications
- Experience writing Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
- Experience leading JAD sessions to elicit requirements from stakeholders
- Experience developing key performance measures for solicitations and resulting contracts
- Experience performing quality assurance activities on large projects.
Preferred
- Experience in Texas Medicaid
- Experience creating process flows for AS-IS and TO-BE models.
- Experience development cost models, pricing workbook and financial requirements
- Prior experience developing Federal funding requests (Planning and/or Implementation Advanced Planning Documents).
- Knowledge of the State of Texas Procurement and Contract Management Guide.
- Experience drafting RFPs within Texas state health agencies
- Experience negotiating large contracts.
