Job Title: UKG Project Manager
Location: Remote (Canada)
Duration/Term: Long-Term Contract
Job Summary:
The UKG Project Manager is accountable for leading the end-to-end implementation, migration, or enhancement of UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) HR and Workforce Management solutions. This role interfaces across business, technical, and vendor teams to ensure timely, budget-aligned, and high-quality delivery of UKG Pro, Dimensions, and Ready projects. The position also manages stakeholder communication, drives compliance, and ensures user readiness through structured change management and training efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full project lifecycle for UKG implementations and upgrades
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
- Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, risk registers, and communication plans
- Act as the primary liaison between HR, Payroll, Timekeeping, and IT teams
- Ensure adherence to UKG configuration standards, compliance, and data security policies
- Lead stakeholder briefings, steering committee sessions, and project status meetings
- Coordinate UAT, go-live planning, training, and post-production support
- Oversee all documentation, including business requirements, change logs, and test plans
- Partner with UKG support teams and system integrators throughout deployment
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience leading enterprise HCM or workforce management projects using UKG Pro, Dimensions, or Ready
- Deep knowledge of HRIS, payroll processing, timekeeping, scheduling, and leave management functions
- Expertise in project management methodologies: Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination abilities
- Experience delivering results across multiple industries, preferably retail, healthcare, or manufacturing
- Certifications preferred: PMP, CSM, or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience configuring or supporting UKG modules
- Familiarity with FMLA, ACA, and other regulatory compliance in HR/Payroll
- Experience with change management and user enablement strategies
