Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a Senior-Level Systems Engineer for CISR, you'll be a lead member of cross-functional hardware and system design teams responsible for the realization of complex computing and communications systems. You'll make substantial contributions to CONOPS, requirements definition, trade studies, performance analysis, design, integration, and verification of these systems.

  • Demonstrable experience with architecture development, requirements derivation, and suballocation.
  • Demonstrable experience defining system behavior and system structure.
  • Demonstrable experience with the cradle-to-grave life cycle of related products.
  • Experience with the design, simulation, and verification of systems and their models.
  • Understanding of communication transmission rates, formats, and waveforms.
  • Demonstrable experience with the design of complex systems and subsystems.

  • Proficiency with System Modeling tools (e.g.Cameo/ MagicDraw).
  • Hands-on lab experience with use of electronic test equipment.
  • Background in electro-optics, including free-space communications.
  • Experience with the design and development of high-speed mixed-signal electronics hardware and packaging.
