Job Details

Hire Technology is looking for a Sr. Analyst, Insights & Analytics, who will play a critical role in transforming complex data into actionable strategies that fuel growth and innovation for our Client's business. This role combines business acumen, analytical rigor, and storytelling to empower leaders across the organization to make data-driven decisions.

The Sr. Analyst will work with multiple data sources—including syndicated data like NPD and Technomic—to analyze trends, develop strategic insights, and communicate findings to executive and business stakeholders. Your work will directly support business performance, customer success, and strategic initiatives across the company.

Responsibilities:
  • Define and lead strategic analytical approaches for high-impact projects; deliver clear, data-driven recommendations to business leaders.

  • Own product lifecycle insights and provide strategic recommendations to support long-term business growth.

  • Leverage advanced analytics and visualization tools to present data in meaningful ways (e.g., Tableau dashboards, performance reports).

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives tied to key performance indicators (KPIs) and business hypotheses.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape category and product strategies through deep data insights.

  • Partner with executive leadership to frame key business challenges and develop data solutions.

  • Facilitate problem-solving sessions and design innovative analytical solutions to improve profitability.

  • Mentor team members and contribute to a strong, collaborative team culture.

  • Develop training programs to elevate data literacy and analytics capability across business functions.

  • Build and optimize data tracking systems and performance management frameworks.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of professional experience in analytics, insights, or related fields.

  • Bachelor's Degree required (Business, Computer Science, or Analytics degree preferred), Master’s degree a plus.

  • Strong understanding of business performance drivers and their impact on strategy.

  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communicator, able to influence stakeholders across all levels.

  • Skilled in SQL or Python, and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience working with syndicated data sources (e.g., NPD, Technomic, Nielsen, IRI).

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems.

  • Prior experience in the distribution, retail, or wholesale industry.

  • Project management experience and certifications (PMP or similar) a plus.
