NVIDIA is in search of a highly skilled ESD & Latch-up Test Engineer to join our team in Santa Clara, CA. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 84,000 USD - 138,000 USD for Level 2, and 108,000 USD - 172,500 USD for Level 3.
You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.

What you will be doing:
- Plan and complete ESD and Latch-up qualification for new and revised products
- Develop HBM, CDM, I-test, and Supply test programs in accordance with JEDEC/AEC standards
- Collaborate with external vendors to design and build ESD and LU test fixtures, including test boards, test sockets, and thermal plungers
- Perform ESD and LU characterization on test chips with new IO interfaces/ESD structures
- Update test status to internal teams on a regular basis.
- Debug weaker pins and work with the FA and Design Teams to identify the cause and implement improvements
- Maintain and calibrate various in-house testers, including ESD HBM and Latch-up testers, CDM testers, 2-pin tester, and TLP tester
- Update and maintain the ESD and LU database and webpages
What we need to see:
- Familiarity with JEDEC and AEC standards for ESD and LU testing
- Hands-on experience with MK4 and Orion testers for ESD and Latch-up stress program development
- Strong understanding of CMOS I/O circuits and ESD protection structures
- Proficiency in analyzing IC electrical test data
- Some experience with 93K tester program development
- Ability to work hard and manage multiple tasks effectively to meet aggressive schedules
- 3+ years of related experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent experience.
