We are on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Sr. Project Engineer to join our team in the Construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and delivering high-end commercial TI construction projects, including office, retail, restaurant, education, and other commercial projects. This full-time, permanent position offers a unique opportunity to develop your career in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
As a Sr. Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:
1. Managing all aspects of commercial TI construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
2. Collaborating closely with clients, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
3. Preparing and managing project budgets, schedules, and other project control systems.
4. Reviewing and approving subcontractor bids, change orders, and other project-related documents.
5. Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and quality standards.
6. Conducting regular site inspections and meetings to monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise.
7. Providing regular project updates to senior management and clients.
8. Participating in the development and implementation of company policies, procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial TI construction, with a focus on high-end projects in the office, retail, restaurant, education, and other commercial sectors with a General Contractor.
2. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
3. Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver them on time and within budget.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
5. A thorough understanding of construction processes, materials, and quality standards.
6. Proficiency in project management software and other relevant computer applications.
7. A proactive, problem-solving attitude, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues before they escalate.
8. A strong commitment to safety, with a record of promoting safe work practices on construction sites.
