Job Description
The Manager, Logistics is crucial in shaping both internal and external production plans for Tentpoles and Specials, with a particular emphasis on on-site logistics. Collaborating closely with the Production Manager, this role assists in creating the budget from the initial concept of the show through to its final deliverables.

Job Description
The Manager, Logistics is crucial in shaping both internal and external production plans for Tentpoles and Specials, with a particular emphasis on on-site logistics. Collaborating closely with the Production Manager, this role assists in creating the budget from the initial concept of the show through to its final deliverables.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Leads the search for appropriate locations for Tentpoles and Specials based on requirements set by Production Lead and Production Management.
- Conducts site surveys, prepares agendas, organizes meetings with local vendors and technical crews.
- Supports the location booking process, assessing operational needs, securing necessary permits, and serving as the primary liaison between the production team and venue management.
- Works alongside the Production Manager supplying inputs for creation of the production budget.
- Collaborates closely with Production Manager to navigate operational challenges across all production stages.
- Manages production and technical vendor relationships across O&T and 3rd parties.
- Collaborates with Production Compliance to ensure projects adhere to company standards and legal requirements.
- Manages logistics for load-in, rehearsals, live broadcast when applicable, and load-out, ensuring all equipment and personnel needs are accounted for.
- Coordinates on-site needs, including parking logistics, signage, credentialing, compound setup, security, catering, cleaning, internet connectivity.
- Ensures seamless operations for crew, talent, and equipment, managing the flow of logistics throughout the event to maintain efficiency and minimize disruptions.
- Works closely with the technical department, coordinating last-minute adjustments as needed.
- Troubleshoots any on-site issues related to logistics, security, and general operations, quickly resolving problems to minimize disruptions.
- Facilitates communication between various departments (production, technical, operations, and talent) to ensure seamless coordination on rehearsals and event day.
- Selects and engages on-location support, including assistants, runners, clean-up crews, credentialing staff, catering personnel, and parking attendants, as needed.
- Ensures compliance with health, safety, and security requirements, and supports EHS in conducting risk assessments.
- Creates and distributes daily call sheets, schedules, transportation details, and event updates to ensure smooth operations.
- Leads daily on-site wrap meetings to review progress and address any issues.
- Coordinates post-event operations, including site breakdown, securing equipment, and ensuring the location is returned in good condition.
- Cultivate a collaborative work environment that fosters innovation and professional growth.
Desired Characteristics:
- Bachelor's degree in film/TV production, Operations, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Operational experience in large scale media environment (Broadcast, TV, News and information, Live Entertainment); or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- A minimum of three years experience in production environment.
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish, with excellence writing and grammar.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings, late and/or last-minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Visio, MS Project and other related tools.
Additional Requirements:
- This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
