Job Description
Job Duties: Associate, Product Management with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Work directly with business and operational users to understand and translate functional requirements into technical solutions in support of by the Firm's platforms. Break down complex problems and processes into feature components that drive product development and platform extensibility. Collaborate across product management teams to identify cross-product opportunities and to ensure all problems considered within the context of the target state product architecture. Collaborate with cross-functional teams of product managers, software developers and designers to define and implement the product vision for institutional client platforms. Ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-centric software solutions that improve the experience of client onboarding, managing lifecycle events and digitizing client interactions. Design and monitor business metrics to establish a feedback loop informing strategic and prioritization-related decisions. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to product usage, adoption, and client satisfaction; use data insights to drive continuous improvement and iterate on product offerings. Provide production support and maintenance including implementing critical bug fixes in a timely manner and assisting in the diagnosis and resolution of incidents. Communicate ideas clearly and concisely to non-technical users of the system. Communicate and work with Engineers to determine if a design can be modified based on its technical limitations. Track changes as part of the project management cycle. Present in front of technical and non-technical staff and communicate the rationale for design decisions. Develop technical product roadmaps and communicate to stakeholders. Lead user acceptance testing and scope test automation for engineers to write unit and regression tests.
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field and two (2) years of experience in job offered or related IT Product Manager role. Prior experience must include two (2) years with: working across the entire product lifecycle, from initial analysis and requirements gathering with users, through design, development, QA testing and production release; designing and supporting the development secure systems using Visualforce, Web components, Apex, RESTful webservices, Java, object-oriented language, and /or JavaScript; developing process automation across product lifecycle using orchestration tools, including at least one of the following: Gradle, Maven, Git, Subversion, Confluence, or JIRA; understanding testing frameworks to write test cases, maintain necessary code coverage by Apex, and maintain APEX governor limits; and utilizing SOQL query to track product analytics and No-SOQL database tools such as Data loader or similar.
Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York-based position is $172,000 - $180,000.
