Title:Application Programmer

Location:Charlotte, NC (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract

Compensation
Pay Range:$45.08-$64.40/Hrs

Description
Develop complex requirements and maintain applications to achieve business goals.
Design, code, test, debug, and document programs.
Collaborate with business partners to define system application requirements.
Utilize knowledge of business requirements and technological alternatives to recommend innovations.
Provide insight and direction from a data perspective and participate in the full development lifecycle.
Contribute to story refinement and define requirements.
Set up and automate continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
Work closely with production support and platform teams to handle technical aspects of applications.
Manage change management, maintenance, platform upgrades, and requirement changes.
Demonstrate data sourcing, analysis, and modeling skills.
Build innovative data provisioning models for large-scale data sourcing initiatives.
Ensure best practices and governance are followed by working with data analysts and developers.
Develop plans with the business to sustain changes and measure ongoing success.
Communicate effectively with managers, peers, and business partners on deliverables and timelines.

Qualifications
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline.
10 years of applicable experience in software development.
Experience in software development in an Agile environment.
Strong skills in data sourcing, modeling, and provisioning.
Experience with database-intensive development, data migrations, and conversions.
Knowledge and experience in SQL performance tuning.
Good experience in SDLC, Agile, and CICD tools.
Good knowledge of Unix and development of shell scripts.
Effective communication and listening skills.
