Job Description

We are seeking a Design Technologist to join our fully remote team. In this role, you will combine design expertise with front-end development skills to enhance user journeys on our platform. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and researchers to optimize product design, user flow, and overall experience—ultimately increasing engagement and conversion rates.

The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of design and technology, with strong UX expertise and the ability to rapidly prototype, test, and implement innovative solutions.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical design and development of front-end components and prototypes using Figma and modern web technologies.
  • Build end-to-end testing environments to validate features before release.
  • Partner with design teams to propose and execute A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Develop user-centric solutions with JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and WordPress.
  • Integrate and debug embedded platforms (e.g., via iframes).
  • Optimize user flows to improve engagement and conversion rates.
  • Document technical solutions and maintain code quality.
  • Monitor and enhance platform performance, accessibility, and security.

 

Required Experience/Skills

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3
  • Experience with Figma for prototyping and design collaboration
  • Solid background in WordPress development (themes, plugins, REST API)
  • Hands-on experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
  • Knowledge of responsive and accessible design best practices
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities

 

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience working with embedded content delivery platforms
  • Familiarity with LMS integrations (e.g., Docebo)
  • Experience with analytics tools (Segment, Adobe Analytics)

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, UX Design, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Compensation: $85 – $90 per hour
