Server Applications Analyst

CEIs Fortune 500 Client is National Leader in Clean Energy Transmission, Generation, and Distribution, and they are adding a Server Applications Analyst to their team in Richmond.

• 12 month contract with potential for extension 
• Must be local to Richmond, VA
• Hybrid Position rotating onsite 1 week then remote 1 week

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support corporate security applications across development, test, and production environments.
• Install, configure, and maintain applications on Citrix-hosted and on-premise servers.
• Set up and manage IIS and WebLogic to interface with Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Collaborate with firewall and infrastructure teams to implement necessary rules and ensure application connectivity.
• Apply patches, manage services, and monitor application performance.
• Support and maintain systems such as:
  • AMAG (badging and physical access control)
  • FLIR (video management system)
  • Oracle-based threat analysis and detection tools
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical systems and respond to incidents.
• Take ownership of supported applications and evolve into a subject matter expert (SME).

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience supporting applications on servers 
• Familiarity with server-side application maintenance.
• Basic exposure to Linux environments (majority of systems are Windows-based).
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across environments.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with AMAG, FLIR, or other corporate security platforms
• Strong background in Citrix, IIS, and WebLogic setup and configuration 
• Experience integrating applications with Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Familiarity with Oracle-based threat analysis software.
• Prior experience in a hybrid work environment with on-call responsibilities.
