Business Analyst for Public Health Services Project

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Business Analyst to play a key role in a major public health services project, expected to last over 2 years. This role involves crucial initial phases such as requirement gathering and extends to training upon successful implementation. The project has a significant impact, aiming to revolutionize health care service delivery through a multi million investment.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage in requirement gathering, use case development, and the creation of functional specifications to ensure accurate project deliverables.
  • Develop and present visual materials, such as workflow diagrams and PowerPoint presentations, to communicate complex processes clearly.
  • Conduct detailed data analysis, manage spreadsheets, and other analytical tools to support decision-making.
  • Build and test cases, ensuring comprehensive user acceptance testing (UAT) and successful project implementation.
  • Coordinate project meetings, track progress, monitor scope, and maintain project deadlines to ensure timely completion.
  • Provide training and support post-implementation, ensuring seamless transition and adaptation of new systems.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years in business analysis, preferably in healthcare or social service sectors.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
  • Proficiency with modern data technologies such as Electronic Health Records (EHRs), case management tools, SQL databases, data integration, and process modeling
  • Strong foundation in business analysis techniques, including requirements management, process modeling, and creating user stories.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups to extract necessary information for project success.
  • Expertise in MS Office, Visio, and ServiceNow, with exceptional skills in Excel.
  • Experience in visualizing and presenting complex data or processes graphically.
  • Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
