Android Automation Engineer (Java/Python Required)
This role is NOT a manual test position. This will require someone with solid Java and Python abilities. This position is focused on analyzing and correcting failures in Android Mobly E2E Testing. This person will create new Test cases. When new features are released, this person will analyze the features and if there are any issues this person will escalate the issues back to the development team for review prior to the release.
Required:
5+ years of experience in Android SW dev.
Expertise & proficiency with Java.
Experience with Python programming since part of the UI test infrastructure is written in Python.
Experience using Android debug tools & testing for HW devices is a must.
The job will be focused on analyzing and correcting failures in Android Mobly E2E Test. This person will be writing new test cases as well as fixing failed tests.
This will also involve regular analysis of feature releases. This person will not be fixing or developing new features but rather testing them and escalating issues to SW development team.
Pluses:
Good understanding of Android ecosystem & 1P Google App such as GMSCore, Google Photos, GMS Modules, Mobly testing, etc.
