Role: Network Architect
Location: Raleigh, NC or Jefferson City, MO (On-site, travel across the USA required)

Overview

We're looking for a senior-level Network Architect (12+ years) to lead SD-WAN design, deployment, and implementation projects across multiple customer sites in the US. The role requires strong expertise in Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela), hands-on configuration, troubleshooting, and multi-cloud integration.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site surveys and prepare assessment reports.

  • Configure and deploy Cisco routers, switches, and access points.

  • Manage and support SD-WAN templates, tunnels, and controllers.

  • Work with field teams and remote technicians during deployments.

  • Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, MPLS, VPNs, and circuits (Ethernet, T1/E1, LTE, Broadband).

  • Document implementations and maintain client communication.

  • Collaborate with customers, vendors, and support teams to resolve issues.

  • Work in flexible shifts (including weekends/holidays) as projects require.

Key Requirements

  • 12+ years of networking experience.

  • Strong knowledge of Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela); Velocloud/Versa experience is a plus.

  • Hands-on expertise with routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs.

  • Experience in network design (HLD/LLD), MPLS, BGP, OSPF, QoS, and tunneling protocols.

  • Exposure to multi-cloud connectivity (Azure, DIA, Cloud onRamp).

  • Cisco/Juniper certifications CCNP/CCIE level required.

  • Wireless & SD-Access knowledge is a plus.
