Who we are looking for
We are looking for self-motivated hands-on Data Engineer- Sr software Development for state street's AML Transformation program. Candidate will closely work with Technical and business teams based in Boston in an agile fashion to develop Technical solution for AML Transaction Monitoring and other compliance Program.

What you will be responsible for
As Application Developer you will
  • Be responsible for the application/ETL development using Spark, Scala, Python and other ETL programing languages.
  • Lead the efforts Data Migration from OnPrem to Cloud..
  • Assume the ownership from development to Production rollout.
  • Working in multi-location agile environment in the alignment with business and technology teams.
  • Following application Development, Data engineering, Performance and security standards.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering
  • Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience with application development.
  • Development experience of enterprise data driven applications, ETL and data orchestration.
  • Hands-on with advanced Bigdata technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Scala, Hive, SQL and NoSQL.
  • Experience with Public cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure is plus
  • Ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies.
  • Moderate experience on unix, shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of ETL Tools, CI/CD, Github, Elasticsearch is plus.
  • Knowledge of Finance, Custody services, data privacy, AML and related compliance domain is plus.

Additional requirements
This role may require occasional L4 production support and weekend release support.

Salary Range:
$90,000 - $142,500 Annual
