Duration: 4 Months+
Location: San Diego, CA 92121
Fully Onsite (The contractors might need to come for few hours to work on weekends whenever needed)
Preferred working hours are Monday to Friday, starting at 8:00 AM.
Job Summary
La technician to support an analog and mixed signal characterization lab;
Provide operational support of crucial test benches and setups for circuit validation
Key Qualifications
Min 7 years' experience as an electronic lab technician
Lab skills for soldering/instrumenting systems for test or debug.
Experience working with validation engineers setting up test benches
Ability to assemble mechanical fixtures, electronic connectors and fixtures
Solid computer skills, able to run diagnostic software and test scripts
Proficiency in Python coding is a plus
Core Responsibilities:
Bench test, debug, and measurements of embedded on-chip
Set up, reconfigure and maintain electronic standalone test benches
Manage and track equipment and assets
Manage and organize lab workspaces
Rework boards, cable assemblies
Education
Associate degree in tech is a plus
Working hours:
The candidate should be flexible to attend the lab on weekends when necessary for part swapping or related tasks.
This is a 40-hour-per-week role, with the possibility of some weekend work included within those hours. While weekend work is not mandatory on a regular basis, the candidate may be required to come in on certain weekends depending on workload or project needs. Flexibility in working hours is essential, as they may vary based on operational requirements.
