Description
We are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to join our team in Concord, New Hampshire. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in transforming data into actionable insights, collaborating with business leaders to create and present dynamic dashboards and reports. This position offers an opportunity to make a visible impact on organizational growth and efficiency through data visualization.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support inventory analysis, forecasting, and supply chain optimization.
Collaborate with business leaders across departments to gather requirements and understand data needs.
Translate complex business challenges into data-driven solutions that enhance operational and strategic decision-making.
Work closely with the data analytics team to optimize the use of the company's new data lake.
Promote and present data visualization solutions to showcase their value and impact to stakeholders.
Ensure data accuracy and reliability in all reporting activities.
Identify opportunities for business practice improvements through advanced analytics.
Provide expertise in leveraging Power BI and related tools to maximize organizational insights.
Support the implementation of analytics strategies to drive business growth.
Maintain a proactive approach in identifying and solving data-related challenges.
Requirements
Proven experience in building dashboards and visualizations using Microsoft Power BI.
Strong understanding of data analysis and business intelligence technologies.
Expertise in data modeling and DAX programming within Power BI.
Industry experience in wholesale, warehousing, or building products supply.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and present to organizational leaders.
Ability to translate business needs into actionable data solutions.
Experience working in cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver insights.
Familiarity with supply chain optimization and inventory analysis is highly desirable.
