Job Title: SailPoint Implementation Engineer
Duration:6-12 months contract.
Hybrid Model-San Francisco, CA 94104
Job Overview:
As a SailPoint Implementation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions for our clients.
You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, configure SailPoint solutions to meet those requirements, and ensure successful deployment and integration with existing systems.
Additionally, you will provide ongoing support and maintenance to ensure the optimal performance and security of the SailPoint implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for identity and access management solutions.
Design and architect SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions based on business requirements, industry best practices, and company standards.
Configure SailPoint IdentityIQ components, including roles, policies, workflows, connectors, and access certifications.
Customize SailPoint IdentityIQ functionality through scripting and development, using languages such as Java, BeanShell, or JavaScript.
Integrate SailPoint IdentityIQ with other systems and applications, including directories, databases, and cloud platforms.
Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of SailPoint solutions to ensure proper functionality and performance.
Provide technical guidance and expertise to project teams and other stakeholders during implementation and deployment phases.
Develop documentation, including technical designs, deployment guides, and operational procedures.
Assist with the development and delivery of user training and support materials.
Stay current with SailPoint product updates, patches, and new releases, and evaluate their impact on existing implementations.
Participate in project planning, estimation, and risk management activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, IT operations, and compliance, to ensure alignment of SailPoint solutions with organizational goals and requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Previous experience (X years) working with SailPoint IdentityIQ, including implementation, configuration, and support.
Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM) concepts, principles, and best practices.
Proficiency in Java programming language and experience with scripting languages (e.g., BeanShell, JavaScript).
Hands-on experience with LDAP directories, relational databases, and web services.
Familiarity with IAM standards and protocols, such as SAML, OAuth, LDAP, and SCIM.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
SailPoint certifications (e.g., SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer) preferred.
Experience with other IAM solutions (e.g., Okta, ForgeRock, CyberArk) is a plus.
