Job Summary

V2 Innovations Inc. is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Consultant / Tester with deep expertise in PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) for a public-sector engagement. You will operate in an Agile design build test environment, leading comprehensive testing efforts and ensuring the delivery of high-quality HCM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead functional and integration testing across PeopleSoft HCM modules, defining test strategies, cases, and scripts.

  • Execute end-to-end, regression, and performance tests; analyze results and drive root-cause resolution.

  • Collaborate with functional analysts, developers, and business stakeholders in daily Agile ceremonies.

  • Produce and maintain project documentation: test plans, defect logs, status reports, meeting minutes, system diagrams, and user guides.

  • Validate data integrity and conduct thorough data analysis to ensure accurate payroll and HR processing.

  • Provide expertise on public-sector requirements, compliance, and best practices for PeopleSoft HCM/Payroll.

  • Mentor junior testers and share knowledge of testing tools, techniques, and PeopleSoft functionality.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft testing or consulting, focused on HCM/Payroll.

  • Proven track record in Agile testing environments, including sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives.

  • Strong understanding of integration testing, performance metrics, and data validation techniques.

  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Outstanding communication skills for clear defect reporting and stakeholder updates.

  • Minimum of 5 years in incident resolution, report development, and supporting enhancements/upgrades.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience with public-sector implementations of PeopleSoft HCM/Payroll.

  • Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., PeopleSoft Test Framework, Selenium).

  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft security, workflow, and reporting frameworks (PS/Query, BI Publisher).

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • Remote first: Only one onsite visit (pre-boarding verification).

  • Competitive W2 hourly rate.

  • Project length aligned with multi-phase public-sector rollout; extension possible based on performance and project scope.
