Job Description
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organizational Role
The Completions Optimization Engineer (COE) works within a 24x7 operation team and serves as a trusted advisor directly engaged with both customers and multi-discipline NOV resources delivering end-to-end data solutions that connect customers' wellsite operations to their office. The COE is the primary point of contact for key customers to support their deployments and address challenging problems related to data delivery. As a data analyst for NOV Max Completions this individual will ensure a uniform and holistic digital window to onsite completions operations. Data curation is critical to enable this functionality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITEIS:
Primary responsibility is managing customer's real time data during frac operations for continuity, context, and data quality
Monitor customer success with NOV solutions and perform daily data integrity checks
Represent "the voice of the customer" to NOV sales, development, and support teams.
Support completions software solution development with operational experience in fracturing and related data systems
Create and maintain plans to manage successful solution deployments
Setup backend system for new equipment and resources being onboarded to NOV Max Completions system
Communicate installation needs to field engineering team
Delivery of the technical solutions, including hands-on configuration and deployment of solution components.
Develop workflows for managing completions data in both NOV systems and sync with customer's data systems
Communicate post job data needs to service company personnel
Other duties as assigned
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Science Degree, or equivalent experience
1+ year of experience in Product, Operational, or Engineering roles
Completions experience is required
Field engineering experience in service rig is a strong plus
Proven ability to define client issues and leverage resources to solve problems
General understanding of IT infrastructure concepts (servers, databases, security, etc.) a plus
Basic networking troubleshooting skills a plus
Basic electronics troubleshooting skills a plus
