Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled PeopleSoft Techno-Functional Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with PeopleSoft modules including General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, and Treasury. This role involves translating business requirements into technical design requirements to facilitate the build-out of solutions internally.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements. Translate these requirements into detailed technical design specifications.
Technical Design: Develop and maintain PeopleSoft application customizations and integrations. Ensure that technical solutions align with business needs and objectives.
Collaboration: Work closely with functional teams to ensure the delivery of efficient and effective solutions. Provide technical support for PeopleSoft applications.
System Upgrades: Perform system upgrades and patches for PeopleSoft applications. Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to PeopleSoft applications. Provide ongoing support and maintenance.
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for all customizations, integrations, and technical processes.
Must-Have Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience as a techno-functional consultant with expertise in PeopleSoft GL, FA, AP, AR, Billing, and Treasury.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in PeopleTools, PeopleCode, SQR, Application Engine, and XML/BI Publisher. Strong understanding of PeopleSoft architecture and modules.
Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Day-to-Day Activities:
Take business requirements and translate them into technical design requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams to build out the required solutions.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for PeopleSoft applications.
Perform system upgrades and ensure compliance with best practices.
Maintain technical documentation and ensure knowledge transfer within the team.
