Job Details

Network Operations Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Operations Engineer with deep expertise in enterprise environments and a strong foundation in data center networking technologies. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with routing and switching, advanced troubleshooting capabilities, and a solid background in network security and cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, configure, and implement enterprise-level network solutions using Cisco, Arista, and Mellanox hardware.
  • Provide expert-level support for routing protocols including EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex routing issues.
  • Manage and optimize Layer 3 network security, with a focus on Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls.
  • Perform firewall optimization including rule consolidation, fine-tuning, and routine policy reviews.
  • Administer and support data center technologies such as EVPN, VXLAN, and BGP.
  • Operate and maintain cloud security posture management tools like Prisma Cloud Enterprise or similar.
  • Support and configure application load balancers such as F5 Big-IP LTM/GTM or Citrix NetScaler.
  • Design and implement wireless networks (WLANs) using Cisco and Juniper MIST platforms.
  • Work within an ITIL-based framework, managing incidents, changes, and problems in a structured environment.
  • Utilize tools like Wireshark, Kentik, Prometheus, or similar for network monitoring and analysis.
  • Basic Linux OS knowledge is desirable.
  • Experience in network automation using SaltStack or Python is a plus.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise network engineering roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with routing, switching, and data center network architecture.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues in high-availability environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud security and modern monitoring tools.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
