This is a Hybrid opportunity with a Mandatory On-Site Presence Weekly.
Open to applicants who currently reside in Iowa.
American Computer Services Inc. is hiring an experienced Business Analyst to collaborate across technical and business teams on multiple simultaneous projects and ensure the successful implementation and support of enterprise systems.
You Must Have:
- Proven experience prioritizing and managing multiple projects and project activities simultaneously while meeting established deadlines.
- Experience working on large, complex IT systems.
Key Experience includes:
- Experience in an Agile environment, gathering requirements, crafting user stories and design documents, establishing acceptance criteria, validating test results, and facilitating communication among business stakeholders, IT, and project teams.
- Experience with SDLC procedures and system development methodologies.
- Experience managing stakeholder expectations and priorities.
- Experience working within a project governance structure (methodology, required templates, and reporting).
- Excellent task management skills, including balancing and managing multiple tasks, with changing priorities, in a cross-functional environment.
- Experience with MS development platforms and software.
- Experience with the MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
- Experience with Application Lifecycle Management tools, including: TFS, VSTS, ADO, Jira, and RTC.
- Experience with SQL Server Management Studio or other relational database software.
- Experience with advanced information management practices, data modeling standards, and/or architecture design and analysis.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Developing, delivering, and updating user stories, acceptance criteria, and designing documents to be used by project team members at all levels.
- Documenting, tracing, updating, prioritizing, and evaluating modifications to business practices, workflows, and related system processes.
- Investigating retrieved data, examining issues, and identifying solutions, such as:
- Installing alternate methods and procedures.
- Implementing changes in processing methods.
- Redesigning products or services.
- Regularly maintaining project details, statuses, risks, issues, and timelines for reporting purposes.
Soft Skills Include:
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and team-building abilities.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse teams, including stakeholders, managers, IT professionals, and SMEs.
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor s degree in MIS, Business, or a related field, and/or relevant certifications combined with work experience.
