Minimum Requirements:
Proven experience in software QA for regulated medical devices, specifically wearables.
Demonstrated expertise in mobile device applications and operating systems (iOS, Android, Windows).
Hands-on leadership experience in QA.
Strong knowledge of ISO documentation standards and quality management systems.
Experience supporting FDA / regulated tests in high-pressure regulatory environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Overview:
Client is seeking a highly experienced Software QA Lead with a specialty in medical device wearables for a temporary assignment. This role will focus on quality assurance for wearable devices and mobile applications, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and supporting documentation for quality management systems. The position is based in Burlingame, CA. This is not a full-time employment opportunity, but a contingent worker role.

Responsibilities:
Lead hands-on software QA activities for wearable medical devices and associated mobile applications (iOS, Android, Windows).
Develop, execute, and document test plans in accordance with ISO standards and FDA requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality and regulatory compliance.
Maintain and update documentation within the quality management system.
Participate in high-pressure environments, including FDA regulated testing / audits.
Benchmark QA processes against industry leaders.
