Position: Inventory Financial Analyst

Description:

  • Department: Supply Chain - Hyperscale Service Projects

The Inventory Finance Analyst supports the financial oversight, analysis, and reporting of inventory-related balances, movements, and trends at the Memphis location. This role requires strong analytical skills, advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI, and the ability to transform operational data into clear and actionable financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support monthly and quarterly financial close processes related to inventory, including reconciliations, reporting, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare detailed analyses of inventory trends, movements, and valuation adjustments (e.g., provisions, reserves, obsolescence).
  • Build and maintain advanced Excel models and Power BI dashboards to enhance management reporting and performance tracking.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Accounting teams to provide visibility into inventory drivers and working capital impacts.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting for inventory and related balance sheet accounts.
  • Identify data anomalies or trends that require management attention and help drive corrective action plans.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory financial analysis, FP&A, or supply chain finance.
  • Experience with inventory accounting principles and working capital analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH).
  • Experience using Power BI for data visualization and management reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and identify key insights.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-financial stakeholders..

  • Timely and accurate completion of monthly inventory reporting and analysis.
  • Quality and clarity of insights provided to management.
