Job Description Summary:
The RF Engineering Manager provides operational leadership, oversight, and technical expertise for the modernized RF design and implementation to support the IT modernization for multiple Air Force and Space Force bases globally. The RF Engineering Manager will be providing resourcing management of technical resources supporting the survey and implementation efforts. This role will also support the interface with other customer network engineers and base related stakeholders.

Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to this position. Equivalent years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Required Experience: 5+ years' experience managing various aspects of enterprise IT as a service projects in the DoD environment.
Required Technical Skills:
Security Clearance Level: DoD Secret Level Clearance required
Location: Hybrid (OKC office for in person)

The likely salary range for this position is $125,265 - $169,474. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Job Description Summary:
The RF Engineering Manager provides operational leadership, oversight, and technical expertise for the modernized RF design and implementation to support the IT modernization for multiple Air Force and Space Force bases globally. The RF Engineering Manager will be providing resourcing management of technical resources supporting the survey and implementation efforts. This role will also support the interface with other customer network engineers and base related stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities:
Position will perform the following duties:
- Project Planning - Support the technical planning with the chief architect and implementation manager to ensure an appropriate execution across the survey, design, and implementation phases.
- Resource Management - Develop and allocate a team of subordinate technical network engineers to perform work remotely, at the home office, or at site. Support the procurement of network material to be tested in the lab and/or shipped to site.
- Financial Management - Provide human and material resource inputs to the financial team to support the estimate at completion and other financial estimates
- Execution - Coordinate with Government Points of Contact (POCs) to coordinate base access, clearance, escorts, personnel and equipment to ensure project tasks can be completed on time.
- Stakeholder Communications - assist the PM with ensuring clear, consistent, timely and accurate communications are maintained with internal and external project stakeholders
- Technical support - provide input into the network design and technical recommendations to the program and operation teams.
Other tasks include:
- Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned projects, including contract and subcontractor management.
- Typically supervises assigned staff, may include subordinate supervisors and managers including NIL Management
- Develops technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.
- Perform detailed technical services on assigned tasks.
- Conducts planning and provides recommendations on task workload.
- Provides input into risk tracking process.
- Attends customer meetings and serves as primary network engineering liaison.
- Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff.
- Coordinates development of deliverables and products.
- Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
- Participates in special projects as required.
- Reviews project requirements and develop strategies for future work.
