Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our client's Land Development Team in Houston, TX. This role is perfect for a servant leader who thrives in overseeing complex commercial, industrial, and residential development projects from conception through completion. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in design, planning, and project delivery while building strong relationships with clients and municipal partners.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide strong leadership, guidance, and technical expertise to an existing Land Development Team
• Develop and mentor other team members to foster professional growth and technical excellence
• Oversee project performance including production, staffing, profitability, and quality metrics
• Maintain and further develop client relationships throughout Northwest Arkansas and beyond
• Identify business opportunities and lead successful pursuit of Land Development design projects
• Directly manage projects while overseeing other project managers on various assignments
• Collaborate closely with company leaders and manage resources for successful work sharing across multiple projects
• Ensure all projects meet quality standards, budget requirements, and delivery timelines
• Represent the company in client meetings and municipal interactions
• Contribute to strategic planning and business development initiatives
Required Experience/Skills
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field of study
• Minimum of 8 years of experience with commercial, industrial and residential development projects
• Professional Engineer (PE) License required
• Proven ability to lead projects and supervise technical staff effectively
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience in client interaction and business development
• Demonstrated positive attitude with ability to be self-directed while functioning as a team player
• Focus on quality, integrity and success in all professional endeavors
• Project management experience with multi-disciplinary teams
• Knowledge of land development regulations and municipal processes
Nice-to-Haves
• Recognized leadership experience and existing relationships with local developers
• Strong connections with local municipal clients and regulatory agencies
• Experience in Northwest Arkansas or similar regional markets
• Background in employee-owned company environments
• Additional certifications in project management or related fields
Education
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field of study required.
