JOB TITLE: Lead System Engineer

REMOTE TYPE: Office Worker

*Office Worker: In office position with work from home allowed, i.e. flex or hybrid worker

JOB LOCATION: 3400 W. Plano Parkway Plano, TX 75075 [hybrid position]

DUTIES: Collaborate with Engineering leads and Release Management stakeholders. Design an environment strategy that allows for smooth movement of code from development sandboxes to production. Define process and leverage tool capabilities that minimizes manual intervention from developers to keep a consistent code base across sandboxes. Develop and maintain deployment pipelines by ensuring seamless integration and continuous delivery. Develop and maintain scripts that allows seamless integration and continuous delivery and deployment of third party applications with Salesforce, be it in the form of managed packages, unmanaged packages, or launch in context. Partner with scrum teams to implement best coding practices, scalability, and other non-functional aspects. Assist scrum teams in resolving merge conflicts and approving pull requests. Work with data model design, data migration approach, and data lifecycle management. Ensure efficient data inflow, residency, and archival processes. Incorporate security and code scans gating steps into the code reviews by focusing on nonfunctional governance, maintainability, and performance. Ensure adherence to Copado best practices and standards. Manage security aspects including user roles, profile definitions, SSO requirements, and secure environment promotion. Work with the CSO team to audit production environments and remediate risks. Interact with multiple application owners and deploy code across multiple environments. Apply knowledge in Salesforce technologies including Apex, Visual Force, Aura Components, and LWC. Extend and provide platform solutions for various Salesforce clouds including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Data Cloud. Utilize open source CI/CD tools. Improve internal processes and promote knowledge sharing within the team. Contribute to best practices, design patterns, and other forms of market eminence. Work within a scaled agile development team to deliver high-quality solutions. Requires Copado Certification.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation utilizing open source CI/CD tools; interacting with multiple application owners and deploying code across multiple environments; applying knowledge in technical leadership roles; applying knowledge in Salesforce technologies including Apex, Visual Force, Aura Components, and LWC; extending and providing platform solutions for sales cloud, service cloud, and data cloud; applying knowledge with multiple Salesforce implementations for a large client. Requires Copado Certification.
